A more detailed look

Take a tour round the famous Vierwaldstättersee (Lake Luzern) taking in stops at picturesque villages such as Weggis, Brunnen, Kussnacht and Altdorf and choose from a wide selection of interesting places and historical attractions.

The beauty of this tour is that you decide where to go, simply chat to your driver/guide about your preferences and he will happily take you there.

The aim is to do as little or as much in a day as we circumnavigate one of Switzerland`s largest lakes. 

Set off and go south along the lake passing Hergiswil, dropping in at the glass factory and seeing Glass blown into Kugels. Travel onto Burgenstock and see modern and old traditions side by side, walk along the Felsenweg to the 153metre tall Hammetschwand Lift offering superb views of Lake Luzern.

Journey on to learn about the historical foundation of Switzerland in 1291 at the Ruttli Meadow (accessible by boat or a one hour walk from the Seelisberg cheese factory) and learn about Switzerland`s national hero at Altdorf (where William shot the apple) and Küssnacht (where William shot his arch enemy).

Visit the Victorianox swiss army pen knife factory and Kirsch distillery in Brunnen and jump on board one of the lake cruisers for a leg on the lake and meet your driver at the next boat station.  It is very much a case of if you want to stop, we`ll stop!
